5 Food Types That Should Never Make It On Your Grocery List

Millions of families go shopping for food items that have been unknowingly harmful to them for years, and maybe their parents have been shopping like this for years before them.

1. Unnatural Ingredients - Don't eat foods with ingredients you can't pronounce. If it sounds like it was made in a libratory, you don't want to eat it. Sorry, that will cut out most of your snacks and sodas.
2. Canned Food - Foods in cans are full of sodium. If you must eat food from the can; such as beans, you should rinse them first. Luckily, there are low sodium options now.
3. Healthy Snack Bars/Cereal - These tricky health bars are not so healthy, they include sugars all throughout those healthy nuts and oats; and we know how harmful sugar is to our health.
4. Processed Meat - Meats that are processed such as hotdogs, sausage, deli meats etc are full of nitrate that is believed to be connected to stomach cancer. Also the saturated fats will clog our arteries of heart damaging cholesterol.
5. White Sugar/Fructose - Sugar is the most notorious ingredient in most of our beloved comfort foods such as cakes, ice-cream, cookies etc. These foods also include unhealthy fats that clog arteries. What we don't know is that it breaks down your bones and is responsible for spiking your bodies' sugar levels, causing many to end up in pain and taking medications later on in life to control future disorders, such as diabetes.
Do your family a favor and learn how to eat and cook healthier foods. Learning to eat healthier by leaving out harmful ingredients, will keep you and your family healthier for generations to come, not to mention how great you will begin to look and feel right away.
