Lose Weight by Eating at the Right Times

Most people eat breakfast just because it is the normal thing to do. However, many people claim that they don't necessarily even feel hungry in the morning. Why is this? It is simply because the body doesn't need food yet, so it doesn't send the signal to your brain that tells you to eat. To avoid compulsive eating, listen to your body!
If you choose to eat breakfast, just know that doing so may cause you to feel groggy and tired for the majority of the morning. Most people were not designed to eat as soon they wake up. In the morning, the body is still busy digesting the food that you ate the previous day. To load up with more food puts a lot of stress on your digestive system and can lead to low energy amongst other things. So, if you want to have more energy in the mornings, consider drinking a tall glass of lemon water instead of going for that bowl of cereal or eggs and bacon! Your body is naturally dehydrated in the mornings, so even if you feel hungry, chances are you are just thirsty. I always recommend that you drink at least 16 ounces of water every morning before you eat anything!
Everyone is different, so you may find you do perfectly fine eating breakfast. This is fine, but if you eat a big breakfast, you probably won't need as much food later in the day. The human body can function on very little food if it is high quality, so just remember to listen to your body when determining if it is time to eat or not!
The mind and the body are separate and one at the same time. Your mind will tell you to eat and your body will respond by making you feel hungry. To avoid compulsive eating, it is important to recognize that this is often just a trick of the mind. Your body is a much more accurate device for determining if you need food or not. Next time you find yourself thinking about food, focus your attention on your body and notice how you feel. Do you feel hungry? If not, don't eat until you do. Pretty simple.
